99th Jayanthi Mahotsava of Paramapoojya Jagadguru Raajaguruthilaka Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji

 

            JSS College of Nursing celebrated the “99th Jayanthi Mahotsava of Shreemanmaharaja Paramapoojya Jagadguru Raajaguruthilaka Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji” on 13.09.2014 at 10.00 am in Navajyothi Auditorium, JSS College for women, Saraswathipuram, Mysore. The program started with prayers of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. The Jayanti Mahotsava was celebrated in the divine presence of Poojya Sri Sri Siddalinga shivananda swamiji, Siddaganga Math, Huliyur durga, Kunigal. Swamiji highlighted the principles and values of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji. The chief guest Sri G T Devegowda, MLA, Chamundeshwari Constituency, Mysore spoke about the priceless contributions of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji towards the society. Prof. Mallanna, former Principal, JSS College for women, Mysore expressed the greatness and the efforts of Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji towards the education and development of society. Sri K R Santhanam, Director, Accounts & Audit division, JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore Presided the occasion. Prof. Sheela Williams, Principal, JSS College of Nursing, Mysore and Faculty and students were present during the occasion. After the program prasada was distributed to all.

 

As a part of “99th Jayanthi Mahotsava of Shreemanmaharaja Paramapoojya Jagadguru Raajaguruthilaka Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji” JSS College of Nursing has organized various activities for 3 days from 09.09.2014 to 11.09.2014.

 

On 09.09.2014 Plant sapling day was organized at Govt High School Premises, Kuppuravalli. Nanjanagud (T)  Mysore (D). This Program was organized the theme of “Go Green” Mrs. Madamma, President, Gramapanchayath, Biligere inaugurated the event by sapling a plant and following that NSS Volunteers continued sapling of 100 plants. Mr. Lokesh, SDMC President, Mrs. Shwetha, Head Mistress, Govt High School, Kupparavalli, Mr. Chandrashekar, Gramapanchayath Member, Kuppuravalli & Students were present in this occasion.

 

 

 

 

 

On 10.09.2014 JSS College of Nursing organized School Health Screening Program at Murarji Residential School, Sindhuvalli, Nanjanagud (T). Under the guidance of Dr. Joy and Dr. Roshini, JSS Hospital, Mysore. Around 220 School children’s were attended and got benefitted from the camp. Some of the health problems identified were cough, skin allergy, upper respiratory tract infections, scabies etc. free drugs were distributed. After health check up we have organized the Video show on Personal hygiene and Environmental sanitation.

 

 

 

On 11.09.2014 we have sponsored a lunch to the patients of Bharath Hospital and Institute of Oncology and also distributed fruits to all the patients in the hospital.
