Admission
All admissions are provisional and subject to final approval by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bangalore, Karnataka. Candidates who have studied outside Karnataka, need to obtain an eligibility certificate from RGUHS, Bangalore, prior to admission.

Admission Requirements in case of Foreign Students
Foreign students/Non-Resident Indians seeking admission to this college will have to produce the following documents along with the admission application form and an eligibility fee of US$ 500.
- A certificate of Academic Eligibility issued by the Rajiv Gandhi
- University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka.
- A clearance certificate issued by the Ministry of Human
- Resources Development, Government of India, New Delhi.
- Student Visa/Long-term Visa.
Fee Structure
For fee details, refer to the enclosed Annexure. Fee towards uniform, books, immunization against Hepatitis B, eligibility fee to university and hostel charges need to be paid extra. The fee should be paid on or before 10th of September every year. Late payment of fees will carry a penalty of Rs. 50 per day.
Application Procedure
A form of the application can be obtained from the Principal, JSS College of Nursing, Ramanuja Road, Mysuru – 570004, on payment of application fee, which is as shown in the table below.

Application Procedure
A candidate interested in applying for the Nursing Programme of JSS College of Nursing is required to fill in and submit the prescribed forms, appended at the end of the prospectus, to JSS College of Nursing. Candidates must obtain and submit the forms as indicated below (based on the programme to which they wish to seek admission).
- B. Sc. Nursing (Basic): Form A
- B. Sc. Nursing (Post Basic): Form B
- M. SC. Nursing: Form C
Candidates are also required to enclose the photocopies of certificates as indicated in the application form.
Please Note:
Those candidates who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria are requested not to submit their applications for admission. Candidates who fail to meet any of the prescribed criteria for eligibility will not be considered for admission.
Aids Screening for Foreign Students
As per the instructions of the Government of India, all foreign students are required to be screened for AIDS immediately after their arrival. Those tested positive would be subjected to further confirmation tests. In this context, foreign students will have to obtain specified blood test reports at their own cost from Prof. & HoD of Micro Biology, Victoria Hospital, Bangalore 2, India, on any working day (between 9 am and 4 pm).
